Details: I LOVE THIS CAR! I really dont want to sell it but it has come down to where I have no choice. It needs some TLC and I dont have the money or the time to fix it up. Motor needs some work and interior needs a little work itself. The car does start up and run but i would not recommend driving it. I parked it when i heard the timing chain making a little noise. We replaced the tentioner but that didnt fix it. BMW mechanic told me it may be the guides have gone bad. It does have a pretty good bit of miles on it so i would say best bet would be to either replace the motor or rebuild. It is a 5 speed with 211247 miles on the odometer. Details: For sale is a 1994 Nissan 300zx Coupe with just under 153,000 miles for $5200. I will consider reasonable offers. I purchased the car in 2003 with around 78,000 miles. Almost everything is either original or an oem Nissan replacement part. It is a fun, reliable daily driver. I was driving it back and forth to Birmingham with no problems up until I bought my new vehicle. Mechanically, it´s about as good as Z´s get. Cosmetically, there are some projects that have been on my list, but never bothered me enough to worry with. I always worry about aftermarket junk on vehicles like this. The only mechanical alteration is the addition of camber adjusting tension rods in the front suspension. The cars didn´t come from the factory with any adjustment for camber. The bars fix that. My priority with this Z was always to maintain reliability and performance. If you´re looking for a reliable daily driver, that also happens to be incredibly fun to drive, this is it. If you´re looking for a cheap, riced out pile of mismatched, low-quality aftermarket parts, this one´s not for you.Information and Options:3.0L V6, non-turbo 5speed manual transmissionTires have ~80% of treadPower steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, cloth seats, cruiseGreat air conditioningRemovable t-tops that do not leak, including leather covers for stowing in the trunkAftermarket stereo, professionally installed, including all speakers, 10in subwoofer, and amp mounted under the passenger seatCondition:- All major maintenance performed at 145,000 including timing belt, tensioner, drive belts, water pump, thermostat, cam seals, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs. - Radiator replaced about a 1000 miles ago along with both temp sensors. Hoses in good shape. - Valve cover seals have a slow leak. Rear main has a very slow leak. I add less than 1/2 qt oil between oil changes. There is also a slow power steering fluid leak. I just top it off at oil changes.- Crank angle sensor and mass airflow sensor have both been replaced in the last 7000 miles. - Diehl Nissan recently did a full inspection. The paperwork shows that everything checked out, but they recommended changing shifter bearings. They´re a little loose, but it doesn´t both me. - Clutch pedal squeaks from wear on a connecting pin. Its perfectly safe, but when it squeaks when its humid outside.- On cold winter mornings a bearing somewhere gets too tight and whines until warm. I had it checked a few years ago and they said not to worry about. It will surprise you though if you´re not ready for it.- Front bumper was broken by the state emissions inspectors in Texas. Bumper looks pretty bad. A replacement from Nissan is about $500. Non-Nissan bumpers are less. - Paint shows its age. Normal chips and wear. It´s never been wrecked since I´ve had it, but I don´t have a full history prior to 78,000 miles when I bought it. Email me to request more pictures. Craigslist only allows the 4 small ones. V6, Automatic transmissionTransmission rebuilt about 4 years ago.Will need tires and brakes soon.No rust but the paint isn´t great - losing clear coat.Most of the upholstery is good except for a tear in the drivers seat.Rear window works fine.4 x 4 works great.Leaks a little oil.AC works, but needs charging occasionally. Heater works fine.Have the running boards.New master cylinder and booster. Has a new fuel regulator and new hoses.Has a good aftermarket stereo.All electric doors and windows work.Sun roof works and does not leak.Would make a great project or hunting truck. With a little work it would be a great daily vehicle.Email any questions. Might be willing to trade. Looking for a good first car for my daughter.
